Life

In the past year I have become increasingly more aware of the absurdities present in the world we live in, but really in the last three months I have grown into what would be considered an existentialist. It is a feeling almost like euphoria where I see myself as looking out on the world much more than actually participating in it. I have been observing more of how people act and what influences their decisions lately and the level to which I notice details has increased greatly. I consider myself more of an observer of the world now; more than I ever did before at least. I am not one to sit blindly and let the world pass me by, but the pure insanity of the world honestly amazes me. I have been people-watching lately. Whenever I go people-watching I notice so many things, small and large, about everyone in the way they act, how they're dressed, whether or not their clothes match, whether or not they are paying more attention to their cell phone or to the direction they are walking. Some people shock me by how little they really pay attention to the world around them. I am just now noticing how complex and diverse the world really is. Especially with a world changing as fast as this world is.

Leave me out with the waste
This is not what I do
It's the wrong kind of place
To be thinking of you
It's the wrong time
For somebody new
It's a small crime
And I've got no excuse
